Our Missions Ministry is of great importance here at First Baptist Church. We provide several opportunities for the men, women, students and children of the church to experience missions service.

Some of those opportunities are trips (local, national and international), Disaster Relief, giving (local, state, national, and international), and working in our local food pantry.

Many of our folks also serve as state volunteers for Disaster Relief. We financially support the SBC Cooperative Program and our local Association of Baptists (Greater Dayton Association of Baptists), as well as Rick & Donna Martin (Missionaries based in Peru), and Joshua & Kari Ortega (Reliant Church Plant Missionaries, H2O at WSU).

We receive special offerings each year for our State Mission Offering (Ray Roberts), our North American Mission Offering (Annie Armstrong), and finally our International Mission Offering (Lottie Moon). Our church is one of the top five churches in our Association and State that give to these mission offerings.

We are very proud to be the sending church for our former Minister of Students (Kevin Singerman) and his family through the International Mission Board (IMB). Kevin & Victoria Singerman  are  IMB missionaries serving in Uganda.
