What You Can Expect
- Warm welcomes from our greeters and congregation.
- The pastors being available and ready to meet with you.
- The gospel to be preached clearly and every Sunday through our music, Scripture reading, and sermons.
We enjoy a blended worship service of both hymns and contemporary songs as the Celebration Choir and praise team ushers us into the presence of God. It is our desire to engage every age group in worshiping the Lord Jesus Christ through our music. On a regular Sunday, we have multiple instrumentalists, including piano, drums, and electric guitar.
Our pastor preaches expositionally from a variety of passages. "Expositional" preaching is simply preaching the meaning of the text. We do our best to uphold Scripture as the inerrant truth of God and not to add or take away from it. We believe the Bible is God's message to mankind, and we must be obedient to it.
Sunday school is broken down by age group. You will find that all of our classes are taught by men and women who love Jesus, Scripture, and their classes!
Q: Where should I park?
A: If you are driving onto our campus from Highview Dr, we have guest parking immediately on your left. This lot is located directly behind Speedway. However, if you have a child 8 weeks old through kindergarten age, you will likely find it conveneint to park close to the playground in the back of our church. This will allow faster access to the preschool wing.
Q: Where can I take my kids?
A: If your child is 8 weeks old up through kindergarten age, you can bring your child to the door to the left of the playground (Door #6). This door is always locked in order to keep our children safe. However, if you ring the doorbell on the right side of the door, someone will readily greet you and welcome you and your child to our church.
If your child is 1st grade through 12th grade, it be likely be most convenient for you to park in our guest parking directly behind Speedway. Then you may enter the main doors of our church (Door #1). You will find a Welcome Center there, where one of our members will greet you and direct you on where to go.
Q: Can my kids sit with me in the service?
A: Yes they can. However, we do have childcare, children's church, and security systems in place to keep your children safe and taught at their own academic level during the service.
Q: How do I find my way around your church?
A: Our church building can be a little confusing! We have signs around the church that do give direction. However, please feel free to ask any of our members for directions, and we would be happy to help you.
Q: Can I meet and talk with the pastor?
A: He would love to meet you! After the service our pastor will be in the foyer to greet people as they leave. You may also request a pastoral visit by filling out a Guest Information Form on our website or in the pew.
